Some distillate products reintroduce terpenes after distillation (called “cannabis derived terpenes” or “botanical terpenes” on the label), but these reintroduced terpenes never fully replicate the complexity of the original plant profile. Full spectrum cured resin retains more of the plant profile than distillate but less than live resin. Live resin retains the most complete profile of all three because it starts with the highest terpene content and preserves it through low temperature extraction.
